'It's funny to see how things can take on a life of their own,' producer Nina Jacobson says of speculation surrounding the role.

Despite what you've heard about who is in the running to play hottie tribute Finnick Odair in the "Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire," the studio hasn't yet settled on a #1 choice. That means that even as rumors continue to swirl that the part could go to Garrett Hedlund or Armie Hammer, no major decisions have been made.
"That's the thing that's crazy," producer Nina Jacobson told the Los Angeles Times about all the fuss.
"People are like way ahead of where we are. We've not narrowed things down by any means. It's funny to see how things can take on a life of their own."
Before they denied the rumors, both Taylor Kitsch and "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson had been linked to the part. And while the fan response to all the chatter has been immense, Jacobson notes that in the end it will be about who auditions best, not just who the fans want in the role.
"It means something that people can see [an actor] in that light, so you know [the actor] will be accepted by a lot of people, on the one hand," she said. But she added, "On the other hand, you have to kind of ignore it. You have to just sort of act like you're sitting in a room and you want to just pick the person who gives the best audition and looks and feels most like the part."
When MTV News caught up with several of the franchise's stars at the MTV Movie Awards last weekend, they didn't necessarily have one person they wanted to see in the part, but they did note several qualities that an actor must have in order to portray Finnick.
Josh Hutcherson explained that he must be "physically strong. I think that's a big important thing. I think somebody who's kind of similar to Peeta in the sense that he knows sort of how to work the situation a little bit. I think the physicality would be really important for Finnick because he's such an imposing character, for sure."
Elizabeth Banks emphasized a few other traits. "You know, just charisma, just a lot of charisma," she said. "And he's a looker."

Bieber gets his dance on with new Believe track, which dropped Tuesday.
By Jocelyn Vena
<P>Justin Bieber has re-teamed with his pal Ludacris on "All Around the World," off his forthcoming album Believe,</i></link> and this party track is a far cry from the sugary sweet puppy-love track "Baby."</P><P>Grinding, fist-pumping and produced by the Messengers, the song sounds a bit like it could have been recorded by Bieber's mentor Usher. A likely contender for the song of the summer, he'll no doubt have fans dancing along with the track.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber Strives For Perfection" id="vid:765701.id:1684329" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>It's a definite party anthem, full of bleeps, dubstep breakdowns and swirling production. "All around the world/ People want to be loved, yeah/ 'Cause all around the world/ They're no different than us," Bieber proclaims on the club-banging chorus.</P><P>When Luda pops in to drop his verse, he's no longer rapping about first love as he did on "Baby." He's definitely upped the swagger for this track, mirroring Bieber's more mature stance on the track. He spits, "Once again, dynamic duos are back!/ JB, Luda!/ I love everything about you/ You're imperfectly perfect!/ Everyone's itching for beauty/ But they're just scratching the surface."</P><P>For the single's artwork, Bieber is holding an acoustic guitar over his shoulder, standing on the surface of the world, the moon glowing behind him. The acoustic guitar is an interesting choice given how much of a dance song "All Around the World" is.</P><P>This is the third song dropped ahead of the album's release on June 19. He already has girls swooning with "Boyfriend" and "Die in Your Arms." According to Aceshowbiz.com, Bieber will release another new track, "As Long as You Love Me," on June 12.</P><P>"All Around the World" isn't just the name of a new Bieber song. It also happens to be the title of his prime-time special airing June 21 on NBC. The hour-long show will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at his global promotional tour in support of the album. And given the chaos he's caused everywhere he's been, including stops in Norway and Paris, it should make for some interesting viewing.</P><P>

'I have a better sense of who I am, what I represent, who I represent,' MC tells MTV News.
By Rob Markman
Big Sean's debut LP Finally Famous was pretty darn good, but for his upcoming sophomore album, the Detroit MC is aiming to be even better.
"I feel like when I dropped my first album, I was still coming into myself as an artist," Sean told MTV News in May. "I have a better sense of who I am, what I represent, who I represent."
Sean hasn't announced the title of his next LP, but he did confirm with MTV News that it will come later this year, after G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer compilation is released. He says that now he has a different mentality than he did on FF, which yielded hit singles like the Chris Brown-assisted "My Last" and "Dance (A$$)," a few all-star collaborators won't hurt either.
"I've been in the studio with 'Ye, talking with 'Ye, building ideas with No I.D., even with Nas, with other people and really talking to 'em and soaking up where their minds is at," Sean said, "Then taking that and applying it to what I know myself. It ain't no choice but to be good."
It was during his tour last year that Sean began to develop more as an MC. "I also have a sense of how people look at me, just by going on tour, my first solo tour, sold-out tour and seeing the people and kids who looked at me as a role model," he said. "That's when I realized when you got the mic, you got the crowd, you gotta say something, or else your moment in time is wasted. It's just a whole different thought mentality."

Rihanna has no problem singing sexy duets with Chris Brown, but don't ask her to talk about him. The "Where Have You Been" singer has provoked fan outrage by maintaining a professional relationship (and apparently, a friendship) with her ex-boyfriend, who pleaded guilty to brutally beating her in 2009. She's discussed Brown in several interviews over the years -- but when he came up in a recent conversation with Esquire UK, the pop singer turned hostile. Not at Brown, mind you; at the reporter.
