Beyoncé Is A "Totally Doting" Mother

It's only been a little over a month since megastar Beyoncé, 30, welcomed her first child Blue Ivy Carter with her rapper hubby Jay Z but it seems as though the Love On Top songstress has taken to motherhood quite well.

Since giving birth to her darling daughter, the self-proclaimed workaholic has been hibernating in the couple's New York mansion and $6.85 million Tribeca loft nursing baby Blue.

'Snow White' Star Sam Claflin Reveals 'Mirror Mirror' Audition

'I think Armie Hammer was always their #1 choice,' he says of ending up alongside Kristen Stewart in 'Huntsman' instead.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" star Sam Claflin apparently had enough charm to be up for the role of the prince in both big-screen adaptations of the classic Snow White fairy tale. In the end, the "Mirror Mirror" producers had their eye on a different young man.

"I think Armie Hammer was always their #1 choice," the "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" star told Teen.com. "But I kind of saw more similarities in their prince and the part I played in 'Pirates,' whereas [with this] I thought I wanted to pick up a sword and I wanted to do a bit of fighting and get a bit grittier and hopefully sort of open a few more doors for me."

Claflin isn't the only one adding some grit to his part: Kristen Stewart's version of Snow is light-years away from "Mirror" star Lily Collins'. "She tends to sort of not be in any princess-like costumes, which is good for her and kind of gives her that badass sort of fighting spirit, I suppose," Claflin said of the armor-clad heroine. "But she looks pretty damned awesome. Thumbs up."

"Snow White and the Huntsman," which also stars Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron as the film's Evil Queen, opens this summer. A trailer for the darker take on the "Snow" story dropped back in November and gave fans an eyeful of what they should expect from the film, which includes snowy landscapes and even chillier emotions.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" follows Stewart's Snow White and her hunting mentor. After the evil queen, Ravenna, calls for her death, Hemsworth's Huntsman takes it upon himself to train Snow to fight off the Evil Queen after he disobeys her and allows her to live against the queen's orders.

Oscars 2012 Predictions: Best Animated Feature Film

MTV News thinks 'Rango' is the likely winner at this year's Academy Awards, but who should win?
By Josh Wigler

The Academy Awards are fast approaching, and it's bound to be an animated show this year — if not a particularly "Adventure"-ous one.

For the first time in years, animation powerhouse Pixar has been shut out of the Oscar race for Best Animated Feature Film, leaving the field wide open for an unexpected newcomer to take the top prize. Two foreign flicks — "A Cat in Paris" and "Chico & Rita" — are in the mix, battling it out against popular favorites and proven franchise hits "Kung Fu Panda 2" and "Puss in Boots." But we expect that the Academy will skew toward the surreal this year, honoring the beautifully bizarre "Rango" with a shiny new golden statue.

Read on for our picks and wishes for Best Animated Feature Film.

Who Will Win: "Rango" takes it home. "A Cat in Paris" and "Chico & Rita" cancel each other out, as do DreamWorks Animation's two offerings. That leaves the door open for the little chameleon that could, played to quirky perfection by seasoned veteran Johnny Depp. Reteaming with his former "Pirates of the Caribbean" captain Gore Verbinski, "Rango" stands out as one of the most original animated movies to hit theaters stateside in quite some time. It's fully deserving of its impending victory. Having said that...

Who Should Win: "The Adventures of Tintin." Clearly, it's not going to win — it's not even nominated! A travesty, I say. Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg's adaptation of the adventure tales from Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi stands out as one of the greatest comic book films of 2011, and in my opinion, the best animated movie of the year. It deserves not just a nomination, but a win, for its fantastic score from John Williams, wonderfully inventive opening credits, astoundingly assembled action pieces and yet another all-star motion-capture grand slam from the incredible Andy Serkis. "Tintin" didn't win its Golden Globe award for nothing, folks. This movie should already be polishing its Oscar by now — there are no excuses for its exclusion from the race.

The MTV Movies team has the 2012 Oscars covered! Stick with us for everything you need to know leading up to the awards show, and on Sunday, February 25, we'll put you on the red carpet and bring you all the winners.

Beyonce Looks 'Sexy' Post-Baby, Destiny's Child Vets Say

Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland say the new mom looks 'amazing' and that Blue Ivy is 'beautiful.'
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kelly Marino

Earlier this week, new mom Beyoncé stepped out to debut her post-baby body for the first time. Decked out one night in a body-hugging red number and another in a glittering black cocktail dress, B was out in full force to support her hubby Jay-Z when he took the stage for a two-night engagement at New York's famed Carnegie Hall.

B certainly left her fans speechless with her ability to bounce back to hotness just a month after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy, and her former Destiny's Child pals were equally floored. Michelle Williams dished to MTV News, "Man, "She looks fantastic, amazing, amazing, amazing. I wasn't surprised because even before she was pregnant she had a six pack, she was very toned. So, obviously it just went back very quickly." Fellow DC gal pal Kelly Rowland also can't handle how Beyoncé is bringing sexy back one hot dress at a time. "She looks fantastic. She looks fantastic. I told her she looks so hot!" Rowland exclaimed. "She looks so hot — just even sexier. Love her!" And Williams noted that it's not just Beyoncé who is doing well these days, but so is 1-month-old Blue. "Absolutely! Absolutely [I've seen everyone]!" she said. "Everybody's doing fantastic, amazing." Williams' sentiments about Blue Ivy mirror those of comments Rowland previously made about J and B's glory. "She's absolutely beautiful!" Rowland said back in January. "And I say that with such a huge grin! I'm so excited. "We all just stared at her," she added about meeting the baby for the first time. "I just stared at her. She is so beautiful."

Are you excited to see pictures of Blue Ivy? Leave your comments below!

Adele 'Absolutely Flabbergasted' After Grammy Wins

Grammy winner also reveals she's ready to start work on her follow-up to 21.

It was only a few days ago that Adele swept the Grammys, taking home six trophies for her album 21 and hitting the stage for an emotional return to performing after having vocal-cord surgery back in November.

In a new blog post titled "5 Was My Favourite Number But Now It Is 6," the singer reflects on the whirlwind of the last few days.

"Oh goodness!! I'm absolutely flabbergasted! In between laughing my head off, welling up, needing to sit down and trying to maintain an open fire (which is pretty much impossible huh!?), I keep having flashbacks to Sunday night. The most incredible night of my life," she wrote. "Thank you to you all, I am so overwhelmed, it's the strangest feeling. I have constant butterflies and goose bumps, it's wearing me out but I LOVE it!

"I've been sleeping a lot but the minute I wake up I burst out laughing and it starts all over again," she continued. "I forgot to mention so many people by name on the night, and for that I'm sorry. I will say thanks to your face when I next see you. I was totally unprepared. Despite the phenomenal year, I swear I didn't think I had any chance. All the categories were full of people I adore with brilliant songs, records and performances. So not in my wildest dreams did I think to actually prepare anything proper to say just in case."

Nestled in between giddy moments in the post, Adele was reflective about the past 12 months. "Thank you to everyone who enjoys my music, and to all the 'daydreamers' (I love that you call yourselves that. I read all your messages and threads from time to time and you crack me up x) it seems like you pass 21 on and want people to hear it and it's because of that that it's evolved into something that we should all be very proud of," she wrote. "All of this is yours — the songs, the shows, the moments like this. Not that there's any other moments like this one, but you get my drift ... Ha! The night itself was so amazing, I met so many incredible people and everyone we've lost this year were on our minds and in our hearts and it was lovely to remember them all together as fans and friends."

At the end of the lengthy blog post, she addressed some comments she made in Vogue in which she noted she wanted to take five years off. Adele fans, don't worry. She has no plans to slow down. "I've a few days off now, and then it's the Brit Awards here at home," she wrote about the show, where she is nominated and will perform. "And then I'm straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"
