Round three is now open for voting in the Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years!

When polls closed Sunday night, we had narrowed the brackets down from the Sweet 16 to the Elite Eight, and some of the results were shocking!

Four of the eight matchups in round two of the tournament remained neck-and-neck until the moments the polls closed. After holding the advantage for most of the second round, "Everytime," which also happens to be Perez Hilton's favorite Britney Spears video, fell out of the tournament, losing to Britney's diva alter ego in "Lucky."

Two of Britney's most dance-heavy videos, "(You Drive Me) Crazy" and "Me Against the Music," were back and forth with each other for most of the round before Madonna and Britney's hit lunged forward and sent green-tube-top Britney out of the tournament with less than 1 percent more of the votes.

Head over to Britney30.MTV.com and vote for your favorite music video in MTV News' Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years.

Round three will see "Stronger" take on "Criminal" in a pairing that many thought would be "Oops! ... I Did It Again" vs. "... Baby One More Time." Of Britney's three VMA-winning videos that remained in round two, only her most recent win, "Till the World Ends," will move forward to battle it out with "Lucky."

Round three will also see two of Britney's most iconic videos, "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U," go up against each other; only one of them will make it to the Final Four.

Round three is open for voting until Wednesday, November 30, at 7 a.m. The final four will be announced and open for voting on the morning of Wednesday, November 30.

Which video are you rooting for? Are you surprised by any of the results so far? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Skrillex: Grammy Nods 'Beyond My Wildest Fantasies'

Breakout electro star is up for five awards, including Best New Artist, at February's Grammy Awards.
By James Montgomery

It has been a very big year for Sonny Moore, better known to the rest of the world as Skrillex. From massive festival dates to the cover of Spin magazine (and just about every point in between), he has been perhaps the unexpected success story of 2011 ... which is why, when he was nominated for five Grammys on Wednesday night (the same number as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry combined), it was a pretty fitting cap on the past 12 months.

Then again, as Skrillex told MTV News on Thursday morning (December 1), he wasn't expecting any of it ... in fact, he's still not quite sure what the whole Grammy thing is all about.

"I was actually on my bus, just about to sleep," he said of what he was up to when he heard he'd been nominated. "I was in Nottingham last night, chilling in the Sherwood Forest, and my tour manager just pops his head into my bunk while I'm sleeping, screaming like 'Yeaaah!' And we had been having some drinks, having a good time, but I didn't really know what was going on, and he told me I had gotten a nomination — I didn't even know it was more than one until later.

"And then I went back to sleep, actually," Skrillex laughed. "But it's crazy; it hasn't really hit me yet. I almost don't even know what it means, in terms of the big picture. This whole year has been insane, and these are surprises and things beyond my wildest fantasies ... and I'm just so thankful to have a great team and people that support me, man, because we've come a long f---ing way, man. People didn't believe in us, and we built this incredible team and system, and it's pretty awesome just to get that acknowledgment and do it with the people you love."

Skrill's biggest nod came in the Best New Artist field — he's the first DJ to ever be nominated in the category — where he's up against the likes of Nicki Minaj, J. Cole and Bon Iver. He's not about to attempt to handicap the category ("I'm not picking favorites or anything, but Bon Iver seems like a no-brainer," he said), and he doesn't see the mainstream nomination as some grand recognition of the electronic genre, either. Though, he will admit that he hopes his is just the first of many noms for his fellow DJ/producers.

"Whether it's on an acoustic guitar or if it's on a computer, music's music, and the most important thing about music is the emotional impact it has on people and culture," he said. "I'm only hoping that my nomination this year will carry on to the next year, and open doors for more people to come up and be noticed and recognized as actual musicians."

And though the Grammys aren't until February, he's already begun to tackle the tough questions about the show itself ... namely, just what will he wear on the red carpet. Of course, if you're a fan of his, you probably know his answer already.

"Oh man, I have no idea what I'll wear," he laughed. "All black! All-black everything!"

'Harry Potter' And More: 10 Best Movie Posters Of 2011

'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' and 'Dark Knight Rises' also caught our attention with a single image.
By Kara Warner

Although it doesn't always feel like the end of the movie season until the Golden Globes and Oscars come around in January and February, 2011 is coming to a close, so the MTV Movies team is reflecting on the cinematic year that was. We've already shared our 20 favorite trailers of the year, and now it's time for a look through the most artistic and silently titillating medium for movie marketing: posters.

10. "Ides of March"
How do you make a political drama look interesting? Before "The Ides of March" poster was unveiled, the answer to that question was likely "You can't. Political movies aren't sexy." Well, now they are, thanks to this stunner featuring the crafty and timely use of split-screen Photoshop action with handsome leading men Ryan Gosling and George Clooney.

9. "The Muppets"
When it comes to marketing a movie, we all know that the folks over at Disney are more than adept at engaging their target audiences. The recent "Muppets" ad campaigns were no exception, particularly the way in which the ads spoke to the older generations who grew up with Jim Henson's famous fuzzy friends. This clever, perfectly polished shot of Fozzie Bear, Kermit, Miss Piggy and Animal was a perfect appetizer.

8. "Drive"
There is not much more to say about Nicolas Refn's violent, arty, critical darling that hasn't already been said. Much like its trailer, the poster is cold and calculated and a fitting showcase for breakout, badass star Ryan Gosling.

7. "Shame"
Knowing what we do about "Shame," it's fitting that the most splendidly simple poster on this list represents the sauciest film of the year. Who would have thought that traditional white block lettering of the film's title over a mess of rumpled, wrinkled sheets could make you feel a little dirty just by looking at it.

6. "Midnight in Paris"
Just look at Owen Wilson, all relaxed and breezy taking a stroll along the river Seine in Woody Allen's romanticized vision of Paris. Not to mention the wonderful use of Van Gogh's famous "Starry Night" painted over half the scenery in the background. The poster captures the whimsical, caught-in-the-moment spirit of the film beautifully.

5. "Bridesmaids"
It is not often that a poster is enough to have us in line for tickets opening day, but this did just that. The pretty ladies in ridiculous dresses sporting their tough-girl expressions is a killer combo. This was an overwhelming case of love at first sight, and we're so happy the film went on to make a ton of money at the box office.

4. "The Dark Knight Rises"
Ever since he brought new life to the Batman franchise with 2005's "Batman Begins," Christopher Nolan's films have made headlines with brilliant marketing campaigns — most notably the "Why So Serious?" run for "The Dark Knight." Although we've barely scratched the surface of the promotional plans for "The Dark Knight Rises," this teaser poster certainly does the trick: interest and intrigue without a single actor or character featured. It also inspired some amazing fan art.

3. "50/50"
The tagline for this poster just about sums up everything we needed to know about the film: "It takes a pair to beat the odds." The fact that we later learned star Joseph Gordon-Levitt actually shaved his head for this scene only adds to this inspired and poignant "50/50" shot. That and Seth Rogen's appropriately appalled expression.

2. "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"
To say that David Fincher's English version of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is highly anticipated is a gross understatement, much like saying this poster is simply provocative. There's so much going on in the subtext — if you can get past the cool sensuality of it all, that alluring tension between stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, who seem to be daring us to come see them on opening day.

1. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2"
As "Harry Potter" fans well know, the movies get progressively dark and more intense, just as J.K. Rowling's books did, so it makes sense that Warner Bros. chose to steady the course with their promotional campaign. We could have highlighted several posters from "Deathly Hallows, Part 2," particularly the individual character posters, but this menacing shot of Voldemort and his "army" gave us a thrill and a chill at the same time. And anything that features Helena Bonham Carter's brilliantly crazy Bellatrix Lestrange is win/win.

Justin Bieber Accuser Will Submit Baby For DNA Test

Mariah Yeater's lawyer in paternity case says that while lawsuit has been dropped, negotiations for settlement are ongoing.
By John Mitchell

Justin Bieber reportedly took a DNA test Friday in response to the paternity case brought against him by Mariah Yeater, a 20-year-old California woman alleging the singer fathered her 4-month-old son, and now Yeater's attorney tells TMZ his client will submit her baby for testing.

Late last month, Yeater filed a lawsuit claiming she became pregnant by Bieber during a backstage encounter following his October 25, 2010, concert at the Los Angeles Staples Center. Yeater withdrew her paternity suit a few weeks later and was dropped as a client by her initial legal team in mid-November. She went on to hire new counsel, led by Chicago-based attorney Jeffrey Leving, who told MTV News that while the suit had been dropped, negotiations for a settlement were ongoing.

Bieber's legal team vehemently denies the allegations and has stated from the get-go that it might pursue legal action to protect the pop star from further false claims. "As we've said from the beginning, it's sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claim," Bieber's spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said in a statement. "We'll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin."

What Are Bieber's Legal Options Now That Yeater Has Dropped Her Suit? After reports surfaced that Bieber took a DNA test in New Jersey, TMZ reported Yeater was deliberately avoiding having her child tested because she knew the results would serve as evidence against her, should Bieber's team file suit for defamation or abuse of the legal process. Her lawyer is now dispelling that notion, telling the gossip site that his client "can't wait" to submit her young son for testing.

Leving, however, claimed he has a problem with the DNA test Bieber reportedly submitted because a member of his team was not present when it was administered. The lawyer said he has been in touch with Bieber's legal counsel, headed by Howard Weitzman, and hopes both teams can reach an agreement on DNA-testing protocol.

Bieber has maintained a positive attitude throughout the ordeal. He has not altered the promotional tour for his holiday album, Under the Mistletoe, including a recent performance at the American Music Awards and on the "Today" show, and told MTV News last week at the Pencils of Promise charity event that he's doing "great."

Earlier that day, he spoke of the paternity case briefly with New York's Z100 radio station, saying, "As far as the whole baby situation, it's unfortunate that it had to happen like that. People make false accusations, but things happen in this industry, and you have to keep your head high and be positive."

Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun Address 'Unfortunate' Paternity Suit

Pop star jokes that a better false allegation would have been: 'Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel.'

Justin Bieber stopped by New York radio station Z100 on Thursday morning (November 17) and addressed a number of subjects, from his favorite candy (Swedish Fish) to his early crush on Selena Gomez to his Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe. But there was one topic he couldn't avoid: the paternity suit.

"Right now, I'm focusing on my album and the music and the [Pencils of Promise] charity we're doing, and just being positive because Christmastime is a time for joy and happiness, so that's what I'm thinking," Bieber told Elvis Duran and crew. "And as far as the whole baby situation, it's unfortunate that it had to happen like that. People make false accusations, but things happen in this industry and you have to keep your head high and be positive."

When asked if he wondered why he was the target of Mariah Yeater's allegations, he joked, "If it was up to me, it would have been a better story like, 'Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel.' That would have been awesome.

"They say that any press is good press — I do not believe that's true," the pop star added. "If you're in the spotlight, then people are looking at you to be a role model, and if you're doing bad things to be getting press, I think that's really, really sad."

While Bieber was diplomatic about his response, his manager, Scooter Braun, had stronger words for Yeater and her legal team. "Look, I don't usually talk in front of mics but the bottom line is they said they're in settlement talks with us, and the only thing I'm gonna say is they will never be in settlement talks with us," he said. "We will never settle with them. That's my little guy right there — I protect him — and they messed with the wrong crew.

"It's false and people should be held accountable when they run out and say this stuff," Braun continued. "And they have this lawyer running around saying, 'Well, we want everything to be held confidentially now.' But you don't get to go out there and badmouth a 17-year-old kid to the entire world then suddenly think it's going to stay confidential. We're not gonna go away quietly. I'm from around [the NYC area], and you know that people from around here don't like to be messed with."

Bieber also revealed what he wants his legacy to be: "[I want people to say], 'He was a good entertainer; a great entertainer,' more or less. I don't want to be second- or third-best, but I want to be the best."

Justin's visit to New York City won't end with Z100. He's also slated to make various radio and media appearances, including a gala held for the Pencils of Promise charity and a Make-A-Wish Foundation event on Friday, where he'll be honored for granting the most wishes in 2011.

Holiday cheer filled the 2011 American Music Awards on Sunday night (November 20) when Justin Bieber took to the stage to perform his festive hit "Mistletoe," from his chart-topping Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe.

Presented by friend and collaborator Sean Kingston, the Biebster began the song atop a high platform as smoke spread below his feet. In an all-white ensemble, the singer strolled from each side of the platform, igniting a string of neon lights. As he crooned his way through the Messenger-produced song, Bieber walked onto lower platforms before making his way onto the main stage.

And it wasn't just JB who lit up with arena, but also the audience. Cameras panned to shots of attendees waving glow sticks.

Bieber took to Twitter over the weekend to hype up his AMA performance, writing, "AMA blocking rehearsal. @dankanter is here. sounds like fun." Kanter, his musical director, echoed similar sentiments about the star's set. "AMA rehearsal. JB is killing it! Just wait until you all see him tomorrow night!!!" he tweeted.

JB has many more stuffers left in his stocking, including appearances on NBC's Christmas tree lighting November 30 and TNT's annual "Christmas in Washington" TV special December 11.

New Led Zeppelin On The Way? Jason Bonham Hints At 'Jam' Sessions With Jimmy Page -- But Not Robert Plant

Drummer admits he doesn't know what will come of 'new material.'
By Chris Harris

Photo: Larry Marano/ Getty Images

On Friday morning, mere hours before he was due to take the stage with classic rockers Foreigner at Detroit's GM Renaissance Center, drummer Jason Bonham — the son of late Led Zeppelin kitman John Bonham — told Jim Johnson and Lynne Woodison of local rock station 94.7 WCSX that he'd be an ex-member of Foreigner as of September 1. But that's not the only thing he said.

Much to the delight of Led Zeppelin fans everywhere, Bonham revealed that he's been meeting up with Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones in recent months and that they've been "trying to do some new material and writing."

It was the first time since Led Zeppelin announced they would re-form for a single performance (which happened late last year at London's O2 Arena, in honor of the late Ahmet Ertegün, who signed the band to Atlantic Records in 1969) that anyone connected to the band has confirmed publicly that new music could be on the horizon for the iconic rockers. While the bandmembers have stopped short of definitively ruling out such a reunion, singer Robert Plant insisted in the wake of last year's show that he intended to focus on promoting and touring behind his critically lauded album with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss, Raising Sand.

Not that Bonham knows what — if anything — will happen with the new material he's been working on with Page (who collaborated with pop singer Leona Lewis on an uneven version of Zep's "Whole Lotta Love" at the Olympic closing ceremonies in Beijing on Sunday night) and Jones. He said he just shows up and takes his seat behind the kit.

"I've been over [to England] a couple of times," Bonham said. "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. When I get there, I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it. Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It's my life. It's what I've dreamed about doing."

He said it's still too early to tell what will become of these "jam" sessions, but admitted that the "possibility of doing something is in the cards. I really felt it was in the cards from the moment we walked offstage at the O2." Bonham also explained that, before there could be a Led Zep LP, "lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out," but added that recording with Zep is "something I've always wanted to do."

Bonham noticeably didn't mention frontman Plant's name during the discussion. A spokesperson for Page's management had no comment on the matter, and a spokesperson for Jones' management could not be reached by press time.
