Joining in on the annual toast to television's finest, Zooey Deschanel glammed up the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards earlier this evening (September 18).
The ?(500) Days of Summer? looked dashing in a floor-length, pink Monique Lhuillier gown as she took the Nokia Theatre stage alongside Will Arnett for presenter duties.
Prior to showtime, Miss Deschanel voiced her distaste for heels, as she told E! News, "I always want to wear flats, but I'm wearing heels. They wouldn't let me."
Hosted by Jane Lynch, the show looks to be as star studded as ever, as an A-list line up of Tinseltown heavyweights are scheduled to appear.
Among other celebs slated to take the stage to dole out the affair's coveted awards are Sofia Vergara, Ashton Kutcher, Amy Poehler and Jon Cryer.

Tip set to be released from the facility on September 29, lawyer confirms to MTV News.

T.I. is halfway home. After being sent back to a federal lockup on August 31 — just as he was making his way via luxury tour bus to a post-jail facility — T.I. has now been cleared to finish the remainder of his 11-month sentence in an Atlanta halfway house as originally intended.
On Thursday (September 15), the rapper's lawyer, Steve Sadow, told MTV News that Tip is currently in the halfway house, where he will remain until September 29. If all goes according to plan, the ATL rapper will have completed his current prison bid for a probation violation that stems from a September 2010 arrest for drug possession.
"[T.I.] went through a disciplinary hearing held before the 'Center Disciplinary Committee' (composed of Community Corrections-halfway house-staff) who recommended that he be returned to the halfway house," Sadow confirmed in an emailed statement.
"We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the pro-active and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.'s rights by providing [Federal Bureau of Prisons] officials and the media with reliable and accurate information that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other [Federal Bureau Prisons] rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta," Sadow told TMZ. "T.I. will be released from the custody of the [Federal Bureau Prisons] on September 29th, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of one year."
Last month, the B.O.P. allowed Tip to provide his own transportation from the Arkansas prison where he was being held to the aforementioned Atlanta halfway house. The Trap Muzik MC's decision to ride in a luxury tour bus was widely reported as the reason he was sent back to prison; several sites said the bus was deemed an unacceptable mode of transportation. Upon his arrival at the halfway house, T.I. was taken back into federal custody.
Last week, TMZ published an incident report that clarified why T.I.'s first trip to the halfway house was actually cut short. According to the report, T.I. was on the bus last month with his wife, his manager and two VH1 producers. His manager and the television producers, however, were not authorized to be aboard the vehicle. The document also suggested that T.I. was conducting business during the interstate ride — a violation of his furlough.
Still, Sadow contended that his client hadn't violated any previous agreements and that the disciplinary committee agreed.

Now that we've finally seen the latest trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and picked our favorite moments, it's time that we turn the continued swooning and sighing over to our trusted panel of "Twilight" experts to learn what they loved most about the new sneak peek.
"My favorite scene ... was the feathers in the bed," TwilightLexicon.com owner Laura Byrne-Cristiano said of the honeymoon aftermath, featuring a sleepy and happy-looking Bella surrounded by feathers from a torn pillow. "That was a moment I think every fan wanted to be there. I was so happy that it was in the trailer, and we know it's going to be in the movie. It could have been cheesy, and it looks like it's going to be fun."
"My favorite scene was the dancing scene with Bella and Jacob," Kara Hassell of TwilightersAnonymous.com said. "I liked it because we [usually] see a lot of action, especially with Jacob and the wolf pack, so it was nice to see a really serious moment between them. I think that their chemistry is great and they do really well."
Kallie Matthews from TwilightSeriesTheories.com went for the more uncomfortable moment.
"There were a lot of favorite moments. This is slightly morbid, but [I liked] actually getting to see parts of the birth scene," she admitted. "I've been so curious about how it's going to play out. The books are just glimpses, and it seems like the movie is going to be that way too, so I'm really glad that Bill Condon is staying true to that," she explained. "Like I said, morbid."
What was your favorite scene in the trailer? Let us know in the comments!

An a cappella girl group covers Usher's hit for Nationals in next week's episode.

During this week's episode of "Glee", the gang from New Directions took a big risk when they decided they would compete in Nationals by singing their own original songs. Well, the stakes just got a little higher.
MTV News has an exclusive first listen to one of the rival groups who will go up against the McKinley High glee club in New York City during next Tuesday's (May 24) big season two finale. In the upcoming episode, an all-female a cappella group sings Usher's 2004 club and radio smash "Yeah!," which may have the Nationals judges saying just that.
Singers replace synthesizers for the four-note melody that repeats throughout the song, and lead vocalists RaVaughn Brown and Missi Hale match the high energy that Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris brought to the track.
Granted, a few things have been tweaked in the version for the tween-friendly show, including the length (the original is over four minutes long, while the "Glee" version comes in at three and a half minutes) and the tune's instructions to "Take that and rewind it back ... got the rhythm make ya booty go."
Also, instead of Ludacris' verse, "We want a lady in the street/ And a freak in the bed," one girl sings, "You know you want a kiss on the lips, old red." The line, "Ludacris fill cups like double D's" has also been cut from the song.
But, it's not all PG. At one point in the girls' rendition of the track, they page homage to Lil Jon's crunk hit "Get Low," singing, "From the windows to the walls" and even Mystikal's booty-happy single "Shake Ya Ass," when they urge, "Show me whatcha' workin' with."
At the 2005 Grammy Awards, the power trio of Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Yeah!" But, will the song bring the same sort of fortune to this girl group at Nationals? Or will the glory all belong to New Directions this time? Gleeks will still have to wait a few more days to find out.
The "Glee" season finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox, while "Glee": The Music, Volume 6, including the three new original songs "Light Up the World," "Pretending" and "As Long as You're There," will be available on Monday.
What do you think of this a cappella group's version of "Yeah!"? Let us know in the comments section below!

Ever since they were first announced, the O Music Awards have proudly proclaimed themselves the untraditional alternative to the staid world of red carpets, acceptance speeches and celebrity glad-handing.
And for further proof of that point, consider the following: Though the inaugural O Music Awards won't premiere until April 28, the first award will be handed out on Monday at 4 p.m. ET ... and it's a big one.
For weeks, fans have been voting for the Most Innovative Music Video through the O Music Awards official site, and on Monday — in a roundtable debate moderated by MTV News' James Montgomery — a winner will be crowned.
The O Music Awards Debate for the Most Innovative Music Video, presented by FUZE®, will stream live on OMusicAwards.com and MTV.com. Joining Montgomery around the table will be acclaimed video director Wayne Isham, Mashable's Brenna Ehrlich and some super-secret celebrity guests.
The Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, My Chemical Romance and more will also take part in the discussion about just what makes a video truly innovative, and the folks who are nominated for the award — a list that includes Arcade Fire, Robyn, OK Go and Andy Grammer — will also Skype in to make the case for why their video deserves to be named Most Innovative.
On Monday morning, the original list of 10 nominees will be whittled down to the top five vote-getters, and then, during the debate, our roundtable and the Internet audience will cut that list down to the final three. At the very end, we'll announce the winner of the very first O Music Award for Most Innovative Video.
The inaugural O Music Awards will stream live from Las Vegas at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on OMusicAwards.com. Tune in to see who will reign supreme in categories like Most Viral Dance, Funniest Music Short and NSFW Music Video!
