Miranda Cosgrove Breaks Her Ankle in Tour Bus Crash

Miranda Cosgrove Breaks Her Ankle in Tour Bus Crash

The phrase "break a leg" has taken on a new meaning for Miranda Cosgrove, who is suspending her concert tour after breaking her ankle in a tour bus crash Thursday morning.

The iCarly star, 18, was traveling between tour dates in Ohio and Kansas when her bus struck an overturned tractor-trailer on Illinois' Interstate 70. According to the St. Louis CBS News affiliate, Cosgrove's bus hit the truck and injured two bystanders who were helping the tractor-trailer's driver. Both the truck and bus driver have been flown to a St. Louis hospital, while the injured bystanders were driven to another hospital. Police say that of the bus five passengers, only Miranda and her mother were hurt -- and not seriously. In fact, the prognosis is good for all involved.

"At this time, we are told everyone will be fine," Cosgrove's rep told E! News. Confirming that Cosgrove had broken her ankle, the rep added: "Because of this, her tour is postponed until further notice. Miranda thanks everyone for their understanding and support."

Though we wouldn't wish a broken bone on anyone, it might be nice for Cosgrove to get some rest right now: Besides her busy touring schedule, she just filmed a role in the Drew Barrymore-directed music video for Best Coast's "Our Deal," and has been shooting the fourth season of iCarly (which premieres on Saturday). That's a lot for an 18-year-old girl to handle -- even with all limbs in tact!

Rose McGowan Dishes About Being Raised by Drag Queens

Rose McGowan Dishes About Being Raised by Drag Queens

Rose McGowan is well-known throughout Hollywood as an outspoken supporter of the gay community. But she recently revealed to The Advocate that her activism is quite personal.

The Conan the Barbarian actress, 37, grew up with parents who were members of the infamous Church of God cult. At age 13, she ran away and found solace in the home of drag queens.

"At 13, when I was a runaway, I was taken in by the most amazing drag queens in Portland, Ore. We didn’t always know where our next meal was coming from, but there was so much camaraderie and love," she tells the LGBT magazine.

McGowan insists there were some advantages to her unorthodox situation -- like learning about make-up from the best. "Those girls could paint a face, and I learned how because of them," she says.

Although in her teens she regularly showed up at gay clubs with her guardians, McGowan confesses that she was always secure in her own heterosexuality and never dabbled in bi-curious experimentation.

"I’ve never even kissed a girl," says the actress, who dated Marilyn Manson from 1998 to 2001. "Isn’t that funny? The girls I think are cute look like guys, but then I think, 'But if they open their shirt, they’ll have breasts.'"

But the petite fashionista, who in addition to Conan has several other movies lined up, says there's still time for her to have that experience -- on-screen. "I’d be stoked to do a lesbian love scene," she says. "When asked if I’ve kissed a girl, I could finally say, 'Why, yes, I have. And I got paid.'"

Brooke Hogan: Me and My Dad AREN'T Perverted!

Basking herself in the warm Florida sun, Brooke Hogan took to her hotel's pool in a hot pink bikini in Miami on Saturday (August 13).

The 23-year-old daughter of former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan joined a group of friends while enjoying the leisurely Sunshine State relaxation.

The sighting comes as Miss Hogan recently launched her new poster for animal rights campaigners PETA at Miami's Cafeina Lounge.

The black and white portrait taken was shot by Jordan Michael Zuniga, with Brooke pictures trapped in a cage while completely nude.

Of the effort, Hogan told the Miami New Times, "I've always had a love for animals, and I've seen abuse firsthand. It ignited my passion for saving them even more. The worst part is that they are voiceless in our world."

Meanwhile, Brooke has since received plenty of flack about unveiling the racy PETA campaign with her dad in attendance, of which she responded, "Im SO sick of people saying me and my dad are in some perverted relationship. Go home and do your own thing! Stop picking on me!"
