Lindsay Lohan: No Show To Court

Well, Lindsay Lohan did not appear in court today for her assault charges, as it seems some luck may be swinging her way. Supposedly things are changing and the prosecution was not ready. Lindsay did not show up because there were no charges to plead to! She may not be completely off the hook though. She still has a January 15th court appearance for her probation violation back in Santa Monica for which she is being charged with giving false information to a police officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty, and reckless driving. Yikes. I had hopes that Lilo could pull a Britney but girlfriend is a hot mess. Ain’t no turning this boat around honey. We have seen her go from a respected actress with huge potential, to a pathetic substance abuser who lost it all. Liz and Dick probably sealed the coffin on her comeback. Since 2007 we have seen her in court 19 times and in and out of rehab five times. Honestly, I am over feeling bad for her. At a certain point she should have realized she was going to lose it all. There is this fine line [...]

No hay más Led Zeppelin

By

</P><P> </P><P>¿Y a ti? ¿Qué te parece todo esto?</p>

What Other Period Genres Should Ryan Gosling Visit?

By Hannah Soo Park Shoot-em-up flick "Gangster Squad," which hits theaters today, is mostly (at least visually) associated with its 1940s backdrop. And one of its stars, Ryan Gosling, is not a stranger to visiting the past—jumping from decade to decade, Gosling has played characters living in nearly every decade within the past century—except not [...]

Britney Spears & Jason Trawick Split

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have split. That is right it looks like Brit Brit won’t be making that trip down the asile for the third time. A rep for the singer turned reality TV judge has confirmed that Spears and Trawick have in fact called off their one year engagement. Here is what Britney’s camp released to People.com. “Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement. As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.” Not long after her camp released a statement Spears decided to speak on the subject herself. “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Her now ex-fiance’ of course wanted his voice to be heard too and had this to say about the break-up. “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.” It would certainly seem that the couple of four years wants the world to know that this is going to be a very respectable and nice break-up. Not [...]

Usher And David Guetta 'Proud' Of 'Without You'

'When you see R&B and pop and house, as well as electronic, come together, that's the reality of what music is,' Usher tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Jim Cantiello

<P>When Usher and David Guetta hooked up for the French DJ's latest album, <i>Nothing but the Beat,</i> the two superstars created a chart-topping smash, "Without You," that combines Guetta's ear for house beats and Usher's ability to convey a range of emotions with his voice. It's a song that has really stuck with fans of all genres of music. </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="David Guetta, Usher Found An 'Incredible' Song To Collab On" id="vid:713197" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>The track &#8212; a swirling pop ode to not giving up on love in the face of adversity &#8212; struck Usher with its emotional core. </P><P> </P><P>"David Guetta is an amazing artist," he told MTV News last week at a Pencils of Promise charity event. "We talked for many years about working together, and we found a record that was incredible." </P><P> </P><P>Usher said it was a song that resonated with him personally. "I think the world wanted a record like that. That [song] really spoke to the journey that I've actually been on in the last three years," he said. "Traveling all around the world, music sounds different. There's many different genres, and when you see R&B and pop and house, as well as electronic, come together, that's the reality of what music is." </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Usher Gave David Guetta A Chance Before Anyone" id="vid:688619" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>When MTV News talked to Guetta on the American Music Awards red carpet Sunday, he said "Without You" is a standout track on the album. The LP dropped earlier this year and also includes Nicki Minaj, who performed with Guetta at the AMAs. </P><P> </P><P>"It's one of my favorite songs," he said. "It's just, I'm a DJ, so I want to make people dance always, but I also want to give emotions. When it comes to that, 'Without You' is probably one of the most emotional songs that I've done, and yes, I'm very proud of that record." </P><P> </P><P><i>What do you think about "Without You"?
