Fans are slowly learning more and more about Beyoncé's forthcoming album, 4. With the video for "Run the World (Girls)" set to hit the streets on Friday, a select group of fans and press were treated to a five-song preview of the album and the clip on Wednesday.

Justjared.com reported that the video features pyrotechnics, wild animals, and Beyoncé getting sassy and flashing the middle finger, as well as getting sexy gyrating through the sand. The clip, directed by Francis Lawrence ("Water for Elephants"), also includes a cameo from Mozambican kwaito dance group Tofo Tofo, who Beyoncé personally sought out as inspiration for the video's moves.

Beyoncé explained at the listening event that the bass line for the track "Till the End of Time" was inspired by late Nigerian music legend Fela Kuti. In the tune, she reportedly sings, "I wanna love you so (hit me)/ I will be the one to kiss you at night ... Come on take my hand/ I won't let you go/ I'll be your friend/ I will love you so ... Turn your rain into sun ... Say you'll never let me go."

Another song previewed was written by '90s balladeer Babyface, and on it B sings about revenge. The drums, Justjared.com reports, sound similar to those on "Girls." Beyoncé also previewed a "moody" ballad on which she sings, "I told you how you hurt me/ I'm crying and deserted but you don't care/ Nobody told me this is love/ You're immune to all my pain/ This is love but that's OK ... But I care/ I know you don't care too much/ But I still care."

A fourth song heard at the listening samples Boyz II Men's "Uhh Ahh," and Beyoncé shared that "[Jay-Z] liked it. I don't think he was dissecting it, just thinking of what he could do to it as a rapper." The final previewed tune was another ballad that features the lyrics "I don't know much about algebra but one plus one is two/ He ain't got nothing but love/ Darling, you got enough for the both of us/ Make love when my days look low, pull me in close."

Already a successful documentary film, Justin Bieber's flick, "Never Say Never," hits the streets Friday (May 13) on DVD.

The film is an in-depth look at Bieber's meager beginnings as he puts in the work to become a pop megastar. It features interviews and concert footage, and as Bieber once explained to MTV News, he hopes it finally quiets his haters who might think he's some pre-packaged pop phenom.

"People didn't really know," he explained to MTV News. "They didn't understand that I've been playing music ever since I was born, and it's always been in me. And this movie is really going to show that I'm not just some packaged thing that some A&R put together. It was actually just me living my dream and just making music."

The film is an eye-catching look at the life of the star, and there are some very memorable moments. Here are our Top 5.

His Hair Swoop in 3-D
OK, the hair really did help make Bieber a star, and in a pre-haircut world, those bangs had girls swooning. Turns out, when you have Bieber swoosh his bangs around in slow-motion 3-D, it really puts butts in theater seats.

His Grandfather's Taxidermy
Going home with Bieber is particularly interesting (you get to see his childhood bedroom!), but seeing him play with his grandfather's stuffed dead animals, well, that's priceless.

Vintage Videos
Whether he's singing on a stoop or meeting with Usher, these vintage clips paint a picture of a young man dedicated to getting his voice heard. They help shape the story of Bieber's life and the movie's arc.

Meeting Bieber's Team
Getting to know the men and women who work tirelessly to keep Bieber happy really gives fans the nitty gritty of what it takes to keep the Bieber machine on track.

The Performances
Never been to a Bieber concert? No problem. These glittery 3-D moments give viewers a perfect idea of what a Bieber show is like: screaming fans, A-list cameos (Miley Cyrus, Usher) and all.

Will you buy the "Never Say Never" DVD this weekend? What are you excited to see? Tell us in the comments below!

Beyonce: Now and Then (PHOTOS)

Beyonce is one the greats, and will go down in history as an icon. She has inspired many and paved the way for an abundance of artists. She is one of my favorite divas, and I am excited to share some fun facts, along with a bakers dozen of pictures, old and new. there are no awkward teen pics here!! She was always a beauty! It is not hard to understand why Beyonce is a super star. She began performing at the age of seven, and formed Destiny?s Child in her home at the age of nine. They rocked out hits for several ears, before she went solo in 2004. She has been rocking out hits ever since and 75 million records later, has deemed herself a force to be reckoned with. Here are some of my favorite facts: Her middle name is Giselle, like the supermodel. Her nicknames include JuJu, Moth, and Bee. She won her first talent competition at the age of 8 singing John Lennon?s Imagine. She is married to Jay-Z and the couple are extremely private. She rocks a $5 million, 18-carat diamond engagement ring. Acting roles include Dreamgirls, Pink Panther and Cadillac Records. She performed [...]

Lady Gaga tracks the moments in her life that helped shape her and make the artistic transition from New York native Stefani Germanotta to Lady Gaga, global pop superstar. In an hour-long exclusive interview, "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," set to air Thursday, May 26, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, the star opens up about her ties to her past and how they've impacted the woman she is today.

"I'm really quite traditional, actually, contrary to what some people might think about me. I'm quite traditional in the family sense," she says, adding, "My dad was just trying to breathe normally. He's still trying to breathe normally."

While he might still be trying to adjust to Gaga's outlandish pop persona, her father has always been helping her build the musical foundation she now draws on. "My parents got me Stevie Wonder 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' and the Beatles when I was younger," she recalls. "Good choices, mom and dad. Don't spoon-feed me the Beatles and Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Elton John and expect for me not to turn out this way.

"These were the words that changed my life: 'Have you ever thought about writing music?' " she reveals in the special, during which she also opens up about other pivotal moments, such as the time she bought her first wig and was cast as Adelaide in her high school's production of "Guys and Dolls."

During the intimate chat, Mother Monster opens up about her rise to fame — from her school days of being bullied by classmates to the moment she decided to pursue her dream of pop stardom. She speaks in-depth about the moments that shaped her as an artist, including the upcoming release of her highly anticipated album, Born This Way, on May 23.

"Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside" also focuses on Gaga at home, spotlighting her close relationship with her family and her life growing up in Manhattan before she made the decision to move out on her own to New York City's Lower East Side. Fans will get to intimately know the girl that became Lady Gaga.

Don't miss MTV News' hour-long exclusive interview, "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," airing Thursday, May 26, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
