Beyonce Releases New 'Run The World (Girls)' Video Teaser

Models are dystopian-chic in new preview.

Beyoncé is teasing fans with a 20-second sneak peek of the video for "Run the World (Girls)," the lead single from her forthcoming album, set for release this year.

B is nowhere to be seen in the tease, but the clip certainly gives fans a taste of the video's sexiness. Leggy ladies, from all walks of life, mug for the camera as they hang out in the desert. They saunter, prance, hang out on bikes and look generally over everything, all while being totally hot. The fashions are mostly funky chic: lots of black, lots of fur and lots of hot pants.

A previous glimpse into the post-apocalyptic video showed the remains of what once was (a rusty car, a newspaper) before Beyoncé appears in all her glory, decked out in white and riding a horse.

Fans can also piece together some parts of the video thanks to leaked photos. B had been seen sporting white Givenchy couture in mid-April and then she looked both fierce and regal waving a "B" flag for anther setup, where she seemed to be commanding some sort of army.

Director Francis Lawrence didn't reveal too much to us when MTV News talked to him a few weeks back, but he did give some details about what fans should expect from the video, which was shot last month in California.

"It'll be big, it'll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done," he said. "And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable." He added, "I think the video's gonna be really fun and cool and different for her."

What are you expecting from the video? Let us know in the comments!

Ke$ha Is Channeling 'Sexiness' Of '70s Rock For New Album

Glitter-heavy pop star tells MTV News she's going for 'balls-out, irreverent rock and roll.'

Ke$ha's already got the face paint down pat, and, during recent live sets, she's even taken to guzzling blood out of a human heart, so it should come as no surprise that, on her upcoming album, the pop star is taking things back to the most theatrical era of rock: the prop-heavy, arena-spanning heyday of the 1970s.

Ke$h revealed her plans over the weekend in Los Angeles, on the red carpet of KIIS FM's annual Wango Tango concert, where she told MTV News that the follow-up to her breakout Animal album (and, we suppose, Cannibal too) would be heavy on hard riffs and light on pretty much everything else.

"The next album ... I've been working on writing on the road, but as far as a sound, I just know it's gonna be balls-out, irreverent rock and roll," she said. "I've been pretty much in this '70s rock and roll kick and I just want to capture some of the true essence of what rock and roll is, and that's just irreverence and sexiness and fun and not giving a f---, so we'll definitely put a bit of rock and roll in it."

So, does that mean that fans can expect the likes of Alice Cooper or Peter Frampton to show up on her new album? Perhaps. Because while Ke$ha's new album is still a ways off, she's already begun calling in favors, hoping to line up a killer collabo for the new disc.

"I'm trying, trust me," she laughed. "I really would love to connect with one of my idols, I mean, that's my dream. I'm working on it."

What do you think of Ke$ha going rock for her next album? Tell us in the comments!

Kirk Cameron Challenges Stephen Hawking on the Existence of Heaven

Kirk Cameron Challenges Stephen Hawking on the Existence of Heaven

On Monday, Stephen Hawking -- the only theoretical physicist famous enough to have guest-starred on The Simpsons -- declared his belief that a heaven or afterlife is scientifically impossible, calling notions of heaven "a fairy story for people afraid of the dark." The world-renowned scientist has frequently stated his agnostic beliefs in the past, but that's not going to stop Kirk Cameron from arguing with him now.

That's right -- Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron. The erstwhile '80s sitcom heartthrob is now a committed Christian evangelist who co-founded his own ministry in 2002. And he doesn't just think that Stephen Hawking is wrong; he thinks that not believing in God is bad science.

"Professor Hawking is heralded as 'the genius of Britain,' yet he believes in the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything and that life sprang from non-life," Cameron tells TMZ. "Why should anyone believe Mr. Hawking's writings if he cannot provide evidence for his unscientific belief that out of nothing, everything came?"

If you're confused, it's probably because you believe in evolution or something. Cameron is using an argument popular with the "intelligent design" crowd: that there's no way the universe could have come into existence on its own, without a creator. Like many intelligent design proponents, Cameron also suggests that science isn't objective fact, but just another form of religion. He explains this to TMZ by reciting lyrics to the John Lennon song "Imagine."

"(Hawking) says he knows there is no heaven," Cameron explains. "John Lennon wasn't sure. He said to pretend there's no heaven. That's easy if you try. Then he said he hoped that someday we would join him. Such wishful thinking reveals John and Stephen's religious beliefs, not good science."

In Hawking's defense, he hasn't said that God doesn't exist -- only that science does not require God to explain the workings of the universe. And Cameron's entitled to his beliefs as well -- but couldn't he have left John Lennon out of this whole thing?

'Priest' Stars All Agree On Favorite Action Scene

'What happens on the train is pretty extraordinary,' movie's star Paul Bettany says.
By Kara Warner

Although it didn't have quite enough oomph to top R-rated romp "Bridesmaids" at the box office, the unique thriller "Priest" has plenty to offer filmgoers via its high-caliber stars Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, and Lily Collins, its "satisfying mash-up" of genres, and, the key ingredient to any popcorn flick, plenty of action.

When MTV News caught up with the cast recently, we asked them to pick their favorite action scene in the film, which was directed by Scott Stewart and revolves around a specially trained warrior priest (Bettany) who must fight vampires in order to save his kidnapped niece (Collins). Coincidentally enough, they all agreed on a favorite: the climactic battle scene, which takes place on top of, inside and in front of a speeding train.

"There so many," Maggie Q said. "I guess the train sequence, where everybody is kind of into it, is pretty great," she said. "They're on the train, and then she [Maggie's character] is on the bike. I thought the editing was genius."

"What happens on the train is pretty extraordinary," Bettany added. The action intercut with Cam [Gigandet] inside the train, with Karl [Urban] and I on top of the train, having this battle royale, and with Maggie further down the track trying to blow the track up, and fighting with all the familiars, on motorbikes and stuff. ... [It's] pretty great."

"I thought it was really cool when Paul [Bettany] and Karl [Urban] are on top of the train," Collins said of the pivotal scene. "I remember the day they shot that, and it looks epic from far away," she said. "I remember how hard it was to choreograph that. It was like a dance on wires. It looks really, really cool. I feel like my stunt scenes are cool too, but visually I think that one looked really awesome."

"I have to go with Maggie's [action sequence]," Gigandet added. "In the very end with the thingamajig [a knife blade/Chinese star-type weapon that she swings around her head], that's pretty rock star-ish. She does it with this simplistic grace."

"Yeah she just does it, and she's [so] calm about it," Collins added.

Check out everything we've got on "Priest."

New Led Zeppelin On The Way? Jason Bonham Hints At 'Jam' Sessions With Jimmy Page -- But Not Robert Plant

Drummer admits he doesn't know what will come of 'new material.'
By Chris Harris

On Friday morning, mere hours before he was due to take the stage with classic rockers Foreigner at Detroit's GM Renaissance Center, drummer Jason Bonham — the son of late Led Zeppelin kitman John Bonham — told Jim Johnson and Lynne Woodison of local rock station 94.7 WCSX that he'd be an ex-member of Foreigner as of September 1. But that's not the only thing he said.

Much to the delight of Led Zeppelin fans everywhere, Bonham revealed that he's been meeting up with Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones in recent months and that they've been "trying to do some new material and writing."

It was the first time since Led Zeppelin announced they would re-form for a single performance (which happened late last year at London's O2 Arena, in honor of the late Ahmet Ertegün, who signed the band to Atlantic Records in 1969) that anyone connected to the band has confirmed publicly that new music could be on the horizon for the iconic rockers. While the bandmembers have stopped short of definitively ruling out such a reunion, singer Robert Plant insisted in the wake of last year's show that he intended to focus on promoting and touring behind his critically lauded album with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss, Raising Sand.

Not that Bonham knows what — if anything — will happen with the new material he's been working on with Page (who collaborated with pop singer Leona Lewis on an uneven version of Zep's "Whole Lotta Love" at the Olympic closing ceremonies in Beijing on Sunday night) and Jones. He said he just shows up and takes his seat behind the kit.

"I've been over [to England] a couple of times," Bonham said. "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. When I get there, I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it. Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It's my life. It's what I've dreamed about doing."

He said it's still too early to tell what will become of these "jam" sessions, but admitted that the "possibility of doing something is in the cards. I really felt it was in the cards from the moment we walked offstage at the O2." Bonham also explained that, before there could be a Led Zep LP, "lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out," but added that recording with Zep is "something I've always wanted to do."

Bonham noticeably didn't mention frontman Plant's name during the discussion. A spokesperson for Page's management had no comment on the matter, and a spokesperson for Jones' management could not be reached by press time.
