Dr. Conrad Murray Trial: Opening Day Details

With the opening of Dr. Conrad Murray?s manslaughter trial, the prosecution played recordings of the late Michael Jackson speaking while under the influence of propofol.

Dated May 10, 2009 at 9:05 am, the recordings contained Jackson?s remarks regarding his ?This Is It? concert series in London, England.

With slurred speech, Michael said, "When people leave my show, I want them to say, 'I've never seen nothing like this in my life.? Go. Go. I've never seen nothing like this. Go. It's amazing. He's the greatest entertainer in the world."

The prosecution also declared, "[Murray] repeatedly acted with gross negligence, repeatedly denied care, appropriate care, to his patient, Michael Jackson, and it was Dr. Murray's repeated incompetent and unskilled acts that led to Michael Jackson's death."
